Job summary

Memorial Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Healthcare System seeks a BE/BC neurosurgeon to expand its surgical neuro-oncology and skull-based services. Fellowship in neurosurgical-oncology or skull base preferred; call is required.

The successful candidate will join a team of adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, and medical neurologists with dedicated areas of expertise. This is a full-time position within the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group; malpractice coverage

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Neurosurgical-oncology or skull base preferred.
• BE/BC neurosurgeon with readiness to join a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in complex cranial procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical neuro-oncology and skull-base procedures.
• Participate in general neurosurgery call.
• Collaborate with neurointerventionalists and medical neurologists.

Job description

The Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Healthcare System is looking to expand its surgical neuro-oncology and skull-based services by adding an additional BE/BC neurosurgeon to its team. Those with training, special interest and/or expertise in cranial surgery are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a team of adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, medical neurologists with dedicated areas of expertise and a team of clinical mid-level professionals. General neurosurgery call is required. Fellowship in Neurosurgical-oncology or skull base is preferred.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
