The Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is recruiting a neurosurgeon-scientist specializing in adult spine care. The candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team of operative and non-operative spine physicians in the UT Southwestern Spine Center. This position will be based at Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital. The neurosurgeon will have completed a spine fellowship and must be board certified or eligible in Neurosurgery and eligible for a Texas Medical License. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. The position reports to the Department Chair and the Director of the Spine Center.
Successful candidates will be committed to patient care, education of residents, fellows, and medical students, and federally funded scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine. Our program is nationally recognized and rapidly expanding.
The position will be sited at UT Southwestern facilities, including Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital, and will report to the Department Chair and Director of the Spine Center.
