Qualifications

• Must be ABNS Board Eligible/Certified in Neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-employed Neurosurgery opportunity with high volume and APP support.
• Level 2 Trauma Center.
• Call 1:4 / 90% outpatient - 10% inpatient.
• Case load Adult 90% / Peds 10% / 20-25 patients a day in clinic (Avg 5 new patients).
• OR block time with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR/3 days clinic).
• Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and neurosurgical services on-site.
• Procedures: Spine (C,T,L) Surgeries (Fusion/Decompression) Kyphoplasty, SCS Implant, Craniectomy/Plasty, Shunt Placement.
• Potential -For teaching, academic appointment with Michigan State University
