MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane is seeking a Neurosurgeon to lead advanced neurosurgical care within the Neuroscience Institute. You will deliver operative expertise alongside inpatient management and outpatient continuity for cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve disorders.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of neurosurgery residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and manage patients with neurosurgical conditions through outpatient clinic, hospital consultation, and pre-operative planning.
• Perform surgical interventions including cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve procedures.
• Provide perioperative management and post-operative care with inpatient rounding and coordination.
• Interpret diagnostic studies such as CT, MRI, and neuroangiography to support surgical planning.
• Collaborate with specialists in neurology, oncology, trauma, and critical care for comprehensive patient management.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and ongoing management strategies.
• Participate in academic conferences, multidisciplinary team meetings, and protocol development.
• Accurately document clinical encounters and maintain compliance with institutional, regulatory, and payer standards.
