On-call coverage and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team are essential. Applicants must have completed a Neurosurgery residency, and fellowships in Complex Spine Surgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery, plus a valid Michigan medical

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of Neurosurgery residency.
• Fellowships in Complex Spine Surgery and in Pediatric Neurosurgery.
• Valid State of Michigan medical license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurosurgical patients including both surgical and non-surgical interventions.
• Manage inpatient admissions, postoperative care, and complications in neurosurgical patients, including ICU care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, CTA, MRA, etc.).
• Perform complex cranial and spinal surgical procedures (brain tumors, trauma, cerebrovascular and degenerative conditions).
• Provide on-call neurosurgical coverage and participate in multidisciplinary team care.

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or related

Residency in Neurosurgery

Fellowships in Complex Spine Surgery

Fellowships in Pediatric Neurosurgery
