Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. The position offers a base salary of $1.1 million with a 2-year income guarantee, plus a $100,000 bonus and moving allowance.

We provide a robust spine center with integrated Pain/PMR, dedicated clinic staff, and a 1:4 call schedule. MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is a 622-bed Level II trauma center with a strong community footprint in central Iowa.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Neurosurgeon credential required.
• Experience in complex spine, neurovascular, brain and trauma care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and busy trauma service.
• Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days; dedicated Clinic RN for each physician; call 1:4 with APP assisting; APPs primary assist with inpatient rounding.
