Job summary

Intermountain Health is recruiting a Neurosurgeon to join the Wheat Ridge team, performing cranial and spine procedures at Lutheran Hospital while contributing to a growing Neuroscience Center of Excellence.

The role offers a 5-day workweek (Mon-Fri) with a 1:4 call schedule, a base salary of $875,000 plus an incentives plan, a $25,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation up to $20,000.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Current, unrestricted CO license or ability to obtain.
• Board Certified or Eligible by the ABNS.
• Trained in both brain and spine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Perform cranial and spine surgeries at Lutheran Hospital.
• Help build Neuroscience Center of Excellence at Lutheran Medical Center.
• Work five days a week (Mon-Fri) with 1:4 call.
• Collaborate with neuroscience team to expand brain and spine care.

About this role:

You will be a part of creating a Neuroscience Center of Excellence at Lutheran Medical Center where you will help build on an already solid foundation of a broad continuum of care for brain and spine patients. Here are just some of the highlights you can expect:

• You would practice at our Wheat Ridge clinic and perform surgeries at our beautiful, new Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO
• This is a 5 day work week M-F with 1:4 call
• Your practice would consist of ~30% cranial and 70% spine cases
• Designated Neuro Critical Care unit and epilepsy monitoring unit with a strong nursing staff
• Growing Primary Care referral base within Intermountain Health Medical Group

Compensation:

Our competitive compensation consists of a base salary of $875,000 plus a wRVU incentive. We are also offering a $25,000 sign on bonus. A relocation bonus of up to $20,000 is also available if applicable.

• Will consider newly graduated Neurosurgery residents
