Job summary

CHI Health Clinic in Nebraska seeks a neurosurgeon to join a respected team providing comprehensive general neurosurgery services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Applicants should be board eligible or board certified in Neurosurgery and be able to obtain Nebraska licensure. The role offers collaboration with a small team, academic opportunities, and access to EPIC EMR and Creighton University partnership.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• BE/BC in Neurosurgery is required.
• Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska.
• DEA Certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general neurosurgery services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform spine, brain, and peripheral nerve procedures, and trauma cases as part of a collaborative team.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs for patient care.
• Participate in a 1:3 on-call schedule.
• Support academic initiatives and partner with Creighton University School of Medicine.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our clinical Neurosurgeon, you will become part of a highly respected team. You will join CHI Health, which is a member of CommonSpirit Health System - The Nations' largest faith based health system.

Every day you will provide comprehensive general neurosurgery services. You will have the opportunity to perform all general neurosurgery cases such as spine, peripheral nerve compression, brain & spine tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, trauma, and more. You will be part of a collabortive team of physicians and APP's.

To be successful in this role, you will be board eligible or board certified certified in Neurosurgery. This opportunity is well-suited for physicians passionate about providing comprehensive Neurosurgery services, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to collaboration. You will also demonstrate excellent communication, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to thrive in a collegial, team oriented environment.
