SAMGI is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join our established neurosurgery program at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. This is a full-time employed position focused on inpatient and emergency neurosurgical coverage, supporting a high-quality regional program.
The neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care, including evaluation and management of emergent and inpatient cases, in collaboration with hospital leadership, emergency medicine, trauma services, and multidisciplinary teams.
This position requires 183 twenty-four hour shifts per year. Shifts are structured as continuous 24-hour call coverage. No administrative duties are required. Shift requirements are prorated for partial calendar years.

MD or DO degree. Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurosurgery. Eligible for medical licensure in North Dakota. Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges at Altru Hospital. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
