Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Neuroscience RN for Baptist Medical Center South, third shift, to supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality patient care.

The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning care, and interventions, collaborating with physicians and other clinicians. A BSN is preferred; active RN license and BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• General supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, and during weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties within scope of role.
