Job summary
Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our California team. The role provides patient care based on advanced nursing practice principles within the specialty and scope of the physician's guidance.
The position requires a Master's degree in nursing or related health field, a valid CA RN license with NP certification or CA PA license, and BLS and ACLS certifications. On-site, full-time with variable shift start/end times and 10/40 hours.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related Health Care degree or equivalent experience.
- California RN license AND NP certificate OR CA PA license.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals.
- ACLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the health care team to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Educates patients and families about care plans and health decisions.
- Performs ongoing assessment, orders tests and develops plans of care.
- Administers medications as clinically indicated and documents care per policy.
- Maintains compliance with SHC policies and billing guidelines.
