Job summary

Direct Jobs is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai. The RN will manage critical care for post-procedure neurosurgical patients and those suffering from severe neurological disorders. Responsibilities include patient care documentation, medication administration, and patient education. Applicants must have a current California RN License and at least one year of recent acute RN experience. Qualifications

• Current California State RN License required.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support certification.
• Minimum 1 year recent acute RN experience in specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document direct and indirect patient care services.
• Educate patients on disease prevention and restorative measures.
• Administer medications and initiate peripheral venous access.
• Observe and assess signs and symptoms of illness.
• Plan and implement individualized patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of diverse patient populations.
