Prolific is seeking Neuroscience Experts to act as evaluators for a high-level AI verification project. You will review dense scientific literature and assess the accuracy of AI-generated graphical abstracts, ensuring scientific integrity and faithful representation of sources.

The role offers flexible hours, work-from-home options, and competitive hourly pay starting at $40+/h. A paid skills assessment with a sample paper is required to qualify.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Neuroscience.
• Master’s or PhD in Neuroscience or related field.
• Analytical skills: history with fact-checking tasks and strong attention to detail.
• Nice to have: prior AI-related training/evaluation experience and background in scientific publishing or peer review.

Responsibilities

• Scientific Review: review scientific papers alongside LLM-generated graphical abstracts.
• Fact-Checking: identify issues and inaccuracies where the graphical abstract does not faithfully represent the source scientific paper.
• Expert Verification: ensure that technical concepts are visually and textually summarized correctly.
