U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a board-eligible or board-certified Radiologist specialized in Neuroradiology to provide interpretive and patient care services within the Diagnostic Imaging Service at Crescenz VAMC (CMCVAMC).

The role emphasizes inpatient and outpatient imaging with fellowship preference in neuroradiology. The position involves teaching and participation in quality and safety initiatives, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for CME support and loan

Qualifications

  • United States Citizenship requirement (non-citizens may be appointed only under VA policy)
  • Doctor of medicine or equivalent degree in allopathic/osteopathic medicine
  • Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a US state or territory or DC
  • Residency training approved by VA/ACGME or AOA leading to board eligibility
  • Board certification preferred for faculty status in some cases
  • Provisions for physicians trained outside the US with verified practice in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and interprets diagnostic imaging examinations for veterans
  • Provides comprehensive imaging reports and documentation including dictation and post-procedural notes
  • Supervises and trains medical students, residents, and other learners
  • Participates in quality management and patient safety activities within Diagnostic Imaging
  • Works Monday–Friday 0800–1630 and engages in related educational opportunities
