Position Highlights & Practice Scope

• Purely Diagnostic: Focus mainly on subspecialty interpretation, predominantly high-volume, community and complex neuro CT and MRI, with basic general radiology support (plain films, foundational body CT/US).

• Zero Procedure Burden: No lumbar punctures, myelograms, or diagnostic angiograms. All procedural care is managed by dedicated Interventional Radiology and Neurointerventional surgery services.

• Collaborative Environment: Active participation in weekly multidisciplinary conferences, tumor boards, and clinical consultations alongside clinical colleagues.

Balanced Schedule & Lifestyle

• Annual Commitment: 230 total shifts per year (~210 weekdays and ~20 weekend shifts), yielding approximately 50 weekdays off annually.

• True Hybrid Workflow: Weekday daytime shifts are split between the main hospital campus, modern outpatient imaging centers and remote reading; all evening and weekend shifts are fully remote.

• No Overnight Shifts: Dedicated, in-house nighthawk radiologists handle overnight coverage. No procedure call.

Candidate Qualifications

• Education: MD/DO from an accredited medical school, with completed ACGME-accredited residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.

• Fellowship & Subspecialty: Fellowship-trained in Neuroradiology; Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (ABR) with CAQ in Neuroradiology (certified or eligible/pathway in progress).

• Licensure: Valid (or eligible for) unrestricted New York State Medical License.

• Experience Level: Both experienced neuroradiologists and upcoming fellowship graduates are welcome to apply.
