Job summary

The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist (CAQ preferred) to focus primarily on neuroradiology while also performing general radiology procedures. The role includes after-hours on-call coverage with remote radiologists handling backup calls as needed.

Qualifications include an MD/DO, full and unrestricted US license, and ABR board eligibility or certification. Residency and fellowship training requirements are specified by VA standards.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in neuroradiology; CAQ preferred.
• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
• Current, full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
• U.S. citizenship requirement per VA policy.

Responsibilities

• About 75% workload in subspecialty neuroradiology.
• Opportunities to participate in general radiography, ultrasound, and abdominopelvic CT.
• After-hour weekday evenings, weekends and holidays covered by on-call diagnostic radiologists.
• Remote radiologists are expected to take 2x call to compensate for no in-house duties.
