Role Description

The Neuropsychology Post Doctoral Fellow is a full-time, hybrid role based in Hallandale Beach, FL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The fellow will conduct neuropsychological evaluations, including clinical interviews, test administration, scoring, and interpretation for adult and geriatric patients. Daily responsibilities include preparing integrated reports, providing feedback sessions to patients and families, and collaborating with physicians, behavioral health clinicians, and care coordinators to support treatment planning. The role involves participation in case conferences, supervision and training under licensed psychologists, and adherence to evidence-based practices and ethical standards. The fellow will also assist with program development, quality improvement initiatives, and may contribute to research or outcome tracking related to neurocognitive and behavioral health care.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program, with formal training in neuropsychology.

• Knowledge of relevant neuropsychological theories, brain–behavior relationships, and evidence-based interventions for cognitive and behavioral conditions.


• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, behavioral health clinicians, and care coordinators.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.


• High level of professionalism, ethical judgment, and cultural humility in serving a diverse adult and senior population.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple evaluations and documentation requirements.


• Eligibility for postdoctoral supervision toward licensure in the state of Florida; prior experience in medical or integrated care settings is preferred.


• Given the vast amount of Spanish speaking patients, a Spanish speaker is preferred
