Job summary

Lyra Health, in partnership with Bend network, seeks a contracted Neuropsychologist to perform comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations across ages, interpreting test batteries and supervising psychometrists. You will provide feedback and coordinate with psychiatrists and care managers, delivering care in-person or virtually from your own office.

Applicants should have an APA-accredited doctoral degree, internship and postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology, and licensure in CA or NY

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Predoctoral internship in neuropsychology preferred.
  • Postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology preferred.
  • Licensed in California or New York preferred.
  • PSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible preferred.
  • Experience conducting testing virtually and in person.
  • Familiarity with online web-based applications.
  • Effective therapeutic communication skills.
  • Able to deliver care virtually or in person and within your own office space.
  • Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, in collaboration with families and other sources.
  • Interpret a wide variety of neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administration.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the use and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments.
  • Supervise and oversee the work of the patient’s psychometrist to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Complete detailed neuropsychological evaluation reports and prepare brief summaries for clients, families, and referring providers.
  • Conduct clear feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the patient’s care team to inform and coordinate treatment planning.
  • Deliver care in-person and via telehealth sessions.

About The Role

Lyra is committed to addressing urgent and costly mental health needs with specialized support where it’s needed most. Our Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity offers neuropsychological assessments, diagnosis, with tailored care for ADHD, and support for autism and learning differences. We are looking for a contract Neuropsychologist who is passionate about whole-person, whole-family mental health care.

This contract role is a great fit for providers who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, including the patient’s psychologist, therapist, and/or psychiatrist. What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, in collaboration with their families and/or other collateral sources
  • Interpret a wide variety of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administration
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the use and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments
  • Supervise and oversee the work of the patient’s assigned psychometrist to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
  • Complete detailed neuropsychological evaluation reports and prepare separate brief summary documents tailored for clients, families, and referring providers
  • Conduct clear, supportive feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and personalized recommendations
  • Collaborate with the patient’s care team (psychiatrist, care manager, and/or mental health wellness coach) to inform and coordinate treatment planning
  • Comfortable completing in-person and virtual sessions with patients and their families
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Psychology from an American Psychological Association accredited program
  • One year predoctoral internship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred
  • Two year postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred
  • An equivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Licensed in California or New York preferred
  • PSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible preferred
  • Experience conducting testing virtually and in person
  • Familiarity with online web-based applications
  • Effective therapeutic communication skills
  • Able to deliver care virtually or in person and within your own office space
  • Candidates must successfully pass a drug screen and background check for this opportunity
