Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a contract Neuropsychologist to join the Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity, offering neuropsychological and/or psychological assessments for clients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with families and care teams, deliver evaluations, feedback, and treatment planning, in a hybrid, virtual or in-person setting.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program.
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist in at least one state.
  • PSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible preferred.
  • Experience conducting testing virtually and in person.
  • Familiarity with online web-based applications.
  • Effective therapeutic communication skills.
  • Able to deliver care virtually or in person and within your own office space.
  • Predoctoral internship in neuropsychology preferred.
  • Two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake interviews to gather complete history.
  • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological and/or psychological evaluations for clients of all ages, in collaboration with families and/or other collateral sources.
  • Interpret a wide variety of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administration.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the use and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments.
  • Supervise and oversee the work of the patient’s assigned psychometrist to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Complete detailed neuropsychological evaluation reports and brief summary documents tailored for clients, families, and referring providers.
  • Conduct clear, supportive feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and personalized recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the patient’s care team to inform and coordinate treatment planning.
  • Comfortable completing virtual and/or in-person sessions with patients and their families.

About the Role

Lyra is committed to addressing urgent and costly mental health needs with specialized support where it’s needed most. Our Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity offers neuropsychological and/or psychological assessments and diagnosis, with tailored care for ADHD, and support for autism and learning differences. We are looking for a contract Neuropsychologist who is passionate about whole-person, whole-family mental health care.

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct intake interviews to gather complete history

  • Collaborate with the patient’s care team (psychiatrist, care manager, therapist, and/or mental health wellness coach) to inform and coordinate treatment planning
  • Comfortable completing virtual and/or in-person sessions with patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in Psychology from an American Psychological Association or Canadian Psychological Association accredited program
  • One year predoctoral internship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred
  • Two year postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred
    • An equivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist in at least one state
  • PSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible preferred
  • Experience conducting testing virtually and in person
  • Familiarity with online web-based applications
  • Effective therapeutic communication skills
  • Able to deliver care virtually or in person and within your own office space
