Job summary

VCU Health in Richmond seeks a full-time faculty member in the Division of Neuromuscular Medicine to provide state-of-the-art patient care for adults and children with neuromuscular disorders, participate in teaching, and contribute to clinical research.

The successful candidate will engage in education of medical students and residents, lead conferences, and collaborate on translational trials while serving on departmental and university committees.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent).
• BC/BE in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Diseases.
• Commitment to respect, professionalism and civility in a diverse academic community.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in inpatient and outpatient neuromuscular settings.
• Teach medical students and housestaff; organize conferences and Grand Rounds.
• Lead or participate in clinical and translational research and trials.
• Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and University committees as needed.
