Job summary

The Brown University Health Department of Neurology seeks a board-certified or eligible neurologist with fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine or clinical neurophysiology to join its established Neuromuscular Division at Rhode Island Hospital.

The role includes an academic appointment with teaching responsibilities, opportunities for research, and a supportive team in a major academic medical center, with visa-friendly policies for H1B and J1 candidates.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Neurology with US-based residency.
• Fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine or clinical neurophysiology.
• Experience in an academic medical center is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in neuromuscular neurology with teaching responsibilities.
• Participate in research and scholarly activities within the division.
• Collaborate with a large team of neurologists and advanced practice providers.
• Inpatient/call service approximately four weeks per year.
