Job summary

OSF Illinois Neurological Institute in Peoria, IL seeks a Neuromuscular Neurology specialist to join the team and expand patient care across a major regional hospital system.

Job description

Illinois Neurological Institute at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a Neuromuscular Neurology specialist physician to expand our team.

  • OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is a 649-bed tertiary care referral center that serves as the neurologic hub for OSF HealthCare's 17 hospitals and 150+ sites of care. It serves as the main teaching hospital for the neurology and neurosurgery residencies, as well as several other residencies and fellowships, in collaboration with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.

  • Work with a strong and growing Neurology residency program.
  • You will have the ability to have a major influence over care of standards and processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Board certified or board eligible in Neurology and/or Neuromuscular Medicine. Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine.
  • Obtain and maintain medical license in the State of Illinois
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Specialized experience, training, or research in neuromuscular disorders.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served

  • Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $412,000 - $450,000.
    • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
