Job summary

IU Health is seeking an RN to join the Community Medicine Neurology clinic in Fishers, IN. The role is primarily onsite with potential for remote one day per week after training.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; no weekends or holidays. Responsibilities include triaging calls, managing symptoms, processing prescriptions, and supporting multiple providers. ASN/BSN options noted; active Indiana RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year RN experience.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions possible with >2 years of relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming phone calls and portal messages.
• Manage patient symptoms and prescription requests.
• Process forms and provide general clinical support for multiple providers.
• Assist training of medical assistants and manage nurse visit schedules.
• Educate patients on self-administering medications at home.
