Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Neurology RN (8 East) for full-time night shifts. New grads and experienced nurses are welcome. Location is Mercy Hospital South, with a 36-hour work week and a night rotation from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The Neurology 8 East unit cares for patients with strokes, seizures, brain tumors, and brain bleeds. The role emphasizes clinical complexity, teamwork, and continuous skill development within Mercy’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active Missouri RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and care coordination.
• Documentation of care plans and interventions.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in Neurology 8 East.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
