Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) for the 8 East unit. This full-time day-shift position focuses on patients with strokes, seizures and related neuro conditions. New grads welcome and sign-on bonuses apply.

Location is Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, with 36 hours per week. The role emphasizes teamwork, detailed neuro assessments, safety-focused care, and collaboration with neurology providers to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active Registered Nurse license in Missouri or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process on Neurology 8 East.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, coordinate care, and document care activities.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
