Job summary

HireNow Staffing is seeking an experienced Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) for a direct-placement role with a Gainesville, Florida hospital. The ideal candidate will manage a demanding neuro-care assignment, deliver safe, compassionate nursing care, and participate in rotating three 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation.

Local candidates within commuting distance are preferred. Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 may be available, with final compensation determined by

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Florida or multistate compact.
• Minimum of one year of professional RN experience.
• Ability and willingness to work three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Gainesville.
• No current or previous disciplinary action against any nursing license.
• Ability to satisfy all employer credentialing, background, health, and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Assess patient conditions and promptly communicate significant clinical changes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor neurological status, vital signs, treatment responses, and potential complications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, and other members of the care team.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Follow infection-prevention, patient-safety, and regulatory standards.
• Work effectively with patient assignments of up to seven patients per nurse.
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and other scheduling needs.
