UNC Health Specialty Care at Chatham Park will provide expert care and consultation for both adults and children. It is a community-based specialty practice that provides comprehensive care. Rheumatology, Endocrinology, and Cardiology are also part of the practice.

Services

• General neurology
• Consultations and physical exams
• Infusion and physical exams
• Infusion (IV) therapy
• Skin, muscle, and nerve samples (biopsies)
• Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections (migraine treatment)
• Clot-buster mediation for stroke
• Lumbar punctures
• Electroencephalography
• Electromyography

Conditions

• Stroke and Cerebrovascular (brain/blood vessel) diseases
• Movement disorders and Parkinson's disease
• Neurodegenerative disorders and dementia
• Nerve pain that causes pain, numbness, and weakness (neuropathy)

Job Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of medicine (MD/DO)
• Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurology
• NC State License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred
• FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required
• Previous experience required
