Job Details

• Outpatient focused with inpatient responsibilities
• Shared call coverage, approximately 1:6 weeks
• Seeing 15-18 clinic patients per day
• Outreach clinics 2-4 days/month
• Development of a neuro-hospitalist service, currently one full-time neuro-hospitalist
• Opportunity to focus on general neurology or a subspecialty
• Emergency stroke call managed by a telemedicine stroke service

Department and Facility Highlights

• Full-service neurology department with subspecialists in Pediatric Neurology, Epilepsy, Neurophysiology, and Stroke
• Collaborations with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, pain medicine, and pediatric radiology
• Neuropsychology services for both pediatric and adult patients
• EMG/NCS and EEG labs, with the EMG/NCS lab accredited by AANEM and the only one in Madison
• Outpatient EEG lab fully accredited, serving Madison and outreach locations
• Long-term EEG studies available at St. Mary's Hospital
• Service area of 18 counties with a population of 1.3 million
