Overview

Carle Health is seeking additional BE/BC Neurologists to join our growing Neuroscience Institutes in Central Illinois.

Opportunity Details

  • General Neurology opportunities. Candidates with additional fellowship training in Cognitive Neurology, Neuromuscular Disease, Movement Disorders, or Headache Medicine are highly encouraged to apply
  • Our Magnet Designated Hospitals include Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign-Urbana, Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington-Normal, and Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria
  • Carle Foundation Hospital is the only Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in a Level I Trauma Center in East Central Illinois. All three hospitals offer an inpatient rehabilitation unit for patients recovering from a stroke or other illnesses/injuries
  • Our ambulatory team includes other BC Neurologists, Neurology Advanced Practice Providers, residents in Neurology, Psychiatry, and medical students from the Carle Illinois College of Medicine
  • Academic and/or research opportunities available through the Carle Neuroscience Institute in Urbana, the University of Illinois Beckman Institute, and the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Academic appointment through the Carle Illinois College of Medicine will be commensurate with academic experience and rank
  • Integrated neurosciences service line with strong physician-centered management with support from established Hospitalist, Critical Care, Neuroradiology, and Neurosurgical teams

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $350,000 - $375,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
