Job summary

Health Marketing is seeking a neurology physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join an outpatient neurology team, with potential inpatient duties. The role emphasizes collaboration within a neuroscience institute, quality care, and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-approved Physician Assistant program; NCCPA certified or eligible.
• For Nurse Practitioners: completion of an approved program, eligible or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing, and qualified to work across all patient age groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments and triage based on presenting conditions.
• Track and review relevant procedure and laboratory results, communicate findings to physicians, patients, and families.
• Coordinate follow-up care and respond to patient and family inquiries.
• Discuss treatment plans with physicians and relay information to patients and families.
• Assist with preauthorization processes for medications, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Screen patients and manage appropriate patient care activities.
