Job summary

UPMC Northshore Neurology in Erie, PA is expanding outpatient neurology services focused on EMG and neuromuscular care. You will join a comprehensive team offering teaching opportunities and a fully automated EPIC EHR environment.

We welcome physicians trained in neurology with ABMS board eligibility/certification. The role supports a robust clinical practice with a residency program, telemedicine, and extensive patient care pathways in a non-profit health system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Accredited Neurology Residency Program completion.
• Accredited fellowship completion is an asset, not a requirement.
• American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Neurology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and credentials.
• DEA certification.
• Open to recent fellowship-trained physicians.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient-only neurology with no on-call requirements.
• Collaborate with MS, Neuromuscular, Movement Disorders, Headache, Sleep Medicine, and Epilepsy specialists.
• Teaching opportunities through our ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program.
• Fully automated EPIC EHR and telemedicine support.
• On-site neurodiagnostic lab (sleep studies, EMG, EEG).
• Join a large, collaborative neuroscience team with multiple specialists.

Education
