Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

You will provide comprehensive neurological care for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, including epilepsy, MS, Parkinson's, and other conditions. Responsibilities include treatment planning, medication management, follow-up visits, patient and family education, and collaboration with physicians to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP/PA/Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Masters Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited NP program.
• Minimum 6 months of long-term care or SNF experience.
• One year of Neurology experience preferred.
• EMR documentation experience (Sigma/Visual/PCC) training provided.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking; lifting up to 20 lbs; computer work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized neurology treatment plans.
• Conduct regular follow-up visits and adjust treatments; provide education and support.
• Collaborate with physicians to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Provide patient and family education on diseases and medications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of encounters and plans.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological conditions. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions
• Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize patient care delivery
• Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Neurology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
