Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Neurology to join the outpatient neurology team at Androscoggin Valley Hospital and outreach sites in Berlin, NH. The role focuses on comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management for adolescents (16+) and adults with a wide range of neurological conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current NP or PA licensure (or eligibility) in New Hampshire.
• Minimum 2-years of experience in Neurology.
• ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage migraine and chronic headache disorders.
• Assess memory loss and cognitive impairment.
• Treat essential tremor and movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease.
• Evaluate dizziness and balance disorders.
• Manage epilepsy and seizure disorders.
• Provide outpatient follow-up care for new and established patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Assist with specialty procedures and treatment management, including Botox therapy.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives.
