Job summary

LCMC Health seeks a Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient neurology clinic in Marrero, LA. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat neurology patients while educating them on their conditions and care plans.

The ideal candidate will have neurology experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and an ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in Louisiana.
• Current APRN license in Louisiana.
• BLS certification with American Heart Association.
• Experience in neurology patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurological care under physician collaboration.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate care and document encounters in the medical record.
• Respond to patient inquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff in daily operations.
