Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled patient care in a daytime shift. You will perform LPN duties under the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act, support planning and implementation of care, and administer medications with safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes maintaining clean, organized exam rooms, documenting care, and assisting with training and clinical matters within the department.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Oklahoma LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current and maintained.
• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational LPN program completed.
• Prefer at least 1 year of clinical/office/hospital patient-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
• Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.
• Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
• Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.
• Documents nursing care and activities.
• Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
• Assists with the training of other staff.
• Assists departmental assistant with clinical matters.
