Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Neurologist to provide locum coverage for medical centers in northern New Jersey. The role features 12-hour shifts starting at 7a with offsite call and inpatient consults.

Duties include bread & butter cases, tele-stroke backup, and general neuro tele-consults, supported by nurses. Epic EMR is used; board certification is required. Travel and lodging are paid and licensed/certification support is provided by Medicus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified neurologist with current licensure.
• Experience in inpatient neurology and acute stroke care preferred.
• Credentials for licensure and credentialing support provided.

Responsibilities

• Bread & butter neurology cases and inpatient consults.
• Tele-stroke backup coverage as needed.
• General neuro tele-consults.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and ancillary teams.
