Job summary

UTHealth Houston seeks a Clinical Trial Program Manager to oversee daily operations, personnel management, and staff training for Alzheimer's/dementia and neuromuscular research programs. The role supports a 15–20 member team under the direction of Dr.

Paul Schulz, with trials spanning sponsored and investigator-initiated projects. The candidate should bring healthcare managerial experience, with neurology research as a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for interactions with diverse teams and subjects.
• RN licensure may be required depending on the trial.
• HSR training (CITI) may be required for certain trials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the clinical trial program.
• Manage personnel and training for 15–20 coordinators, nurses and providers.
• Coordinate site development and enrollment of human subjects.
• Monitor trials and ensure regulatory compliance across activities.
• Develop and maintain communication with sites, investigators, and sponsors.
• Support budget planning, vendor management, and staffing decisions.
