Job summary

Duke University Health System's Neuro Clinic in Durham, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Call Center. This role supports patient care coordination and clinical communication across the neurology team.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, is licensed in North Carolina, and demonstrates strong nursing knowledge, exceptional communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) is required.
• All RNs without a Bachelor's degree must enroll in a BSN program within two years and complete it within five years.
• Nurses hired with a valid compact license must obtain North Carolina nursing licensure within 90 days.
• BLS certification is required.
• CN I to CN II promotions occur within 12–18 months of hire per the Vizient Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with NC Board of Nursing.
• Assist in delivery of nursing care and support the charge nurse or team as assigned.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and document patient progress.
• Assist in creating policies and ensure compliance with procedures and physician orders.
• Observe nursing staff activities and communicate quality and efficiency improvements to management.
