• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize resources.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition; collaborates across disciplines for transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept students and new hires.
• Works with critical thinking, decisive judgement, and in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
