Job summary

Semmes Murphey Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our established neurology practice in Memphis. This full-time, onsite role focuses on phone-based patient interactions, guiding access to medications and treatments, and bridging communication across care teams to improve patient care.

The ideal candidate has a nursing certificate, at least 1 year of RN experience, a current state license and BLS certification, with BSN and outpatient clinic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires nursing program certificate from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
• Current state nursing license and BLS certification required.
• BSN degree and outpatient clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clinical or symptom questions, primarily by phone.
• Assist patients in accessing medications or treatments.
• Support coordination between care teams to improve patient access and outcomes.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
