Job summary

Taylor Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking an experienced APRN – Neurology to join our neurology team. The APRN will provide patient-centered care in collaboration with neurologists and the care team, performing assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and education for patients with neurological conditions.

This full-time, day-shift position requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current Kentucky APRN and RN licenses, and 1–2 years of APRN experience.

Qualifications

• APRN degree required (Master's or Doctoral) in Nursing.
• KY APRN license or eligibility is required.
• RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform neurological examinations.
• Assess and manage patients with neurological disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Order, perform, and interpret neurological tests and imaging as indicated.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and lifestyle changes.
• Prescribe medications within APRN scope and state regulations.
