Job summary

Maxim Locum Tenens is seeking a Board Certified Neurologist in Maine to provide inpatient/outpatient neurology services at our partner facility. An MD with at least 3 years of experience is required, and the schedule is Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with no on‑call responsibility.

Outpatient EMG is preferred, and experience with Allscripts EMR is advantageous; training is provided if needed. This locum position offers flexible assignments with dedicated staffing support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Neurology with MD degree
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in neurology
• Location: Maine, USA; schedule Mon–Fri 8:00–17:00; no on-call

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and general neurology care, including outpatient EMG when applicable
• Manage patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans
• Coordinate with facility staff and multidisciplinary teams
