You will diagnose and manage a broad range of conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, MS, and dementia, within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

The role offers opportunities to use advanced diagnostics, guide treatment plans, and contribute to education for patients and families while participating in on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school with Neurology residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology; stroke care experience preferred.
• Maryland medical license or eligibility; DEA/CDS; BLS.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work in inpatient/outpatient settings.

Aufgaben

• Perform and interpret detailed neurological examinations and diagnostic testing.
• Order and review imaging studies (MRI, CT) and electrodiagnostic tests (EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies).
• Diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide follow-up care and long-term disease management.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, rehabilitation specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
