Job summary

HCRC consulting is seeking a Neurologist to join our Pittsburgh area medical practice on a part-time basis. The physician will provide patient care, manage initial consultations, and oversee diagnostic testing and treatment for neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.

The ideal candidate will be MD or DO, board-certified in Neurology, and hold an unrestricted PA license. No Call or Weekends; competitive salary with benefits in the Pittsburgh area.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified Neurologist.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and management for initial consults and follow ups.
• Order tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine injuries and treatment.
• Coordinate in-house labs and imaging.
• Oversee the diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Document timely and accurate medical records.
• Refer to in-house therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues for comprehensive patient care.

We are seeking a compassionate Neurology Physician to join our medical practice part time in the Pittsburgh area. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! The physician will be providing coverage at our offices in the suburbs of Pittsburgh.

Job Duties

• Patient care and management- initial medical consults and patient follow up
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
• Order Diagnostic labs/imaging- in house computerized neurocognitive testing
• Oversee the patient's diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Documentation - timely and accurate
• Order/refer to in house therapies
• Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• BCBE Neurologist
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of PA
