Job summary

Myana is seeking a neurologist to provide non-surgical specialty care for brain and peripheral nerve disorders. The role includes performing a range of neurological procedures, reviewing histories, prescribing medications, and ordering diagnostic tests to guide treatment.

The physician will collaborate with primary care and specialty teams, maintain thorough EHR documentation, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices. A sign-on incentive of up to $25,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school (US/Canada).
• Completion of an ACGME approved residency in neurology.
• Minimum of two years' clinical neurology experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Well-developed communication and independent decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations by reviewing medical histories and data to identify neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Perform neurological procedures such as lumbar punctures, EMG, NCS, EEG, and other interventions as appropriate.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (EEG, EMG, NCS, labs, CT/MRI/PET) to guide treatment planning.
• Evaluate findings to establish diagnoses and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain detailed EHR documentation of encounters, diagnoses, plans, procedures, and communications.
