Job summary

Lancesoft seeks a dedicated Neurologist in New York to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with diverse neurological conditions. The role includes reading EEG and EMG studies and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO, complete a Neurology residency, be board certified or eligible, and possess or be eligible for a New York medical license. English proficiency is required; bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with neurology residency and NY license.
• Ability to read and interpret EEG and EMG studies.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• English-speaking; bilingual candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological disorders.
• Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and patient assessments.
• Read EEG and EMG studies to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Order, review, and interpret neurological imaging and other tests.
• Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions and monitor outcomes.
• Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and options.
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians and specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Adhere to medical regulations, safety standards, and evidence-based practices.
• Stay current with advances in neurology and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
