Job summary

Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, in partnership with Northeast Georgia Health System, seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join our Neuro hospitalist team in Braselton, Georgia. This is a consult- and inpatient-focused role with a strong emphasis on stroke care.

The position features a 7on/7 off schedule, with access to a comprehensive Stroke Center network across NGHS campuses, including Gainesville.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist required.
• Proficient in inpatient neurology and stroke management.
• Comfortable conducting ED stroke alerts and acute care.
• Passion for quality and patient care.
• Works well in a team environment with shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurology and stroke care as part of the Neuro hospitalist team.
• Lead and participate in ED stroke alerts and acute stroke management.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, neurocritical care, and EMS teams.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient care initiatives.

• Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma at our nearby Gainesville campus
• Consult only service
• Robust Neurology program that includes
  • 18 bed Neuro-Critical Care Unit covered by dedicated Neurocritical Care Team at our nearby Gainesville campus
  • Interventional Neurology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Outpatient Neurology program with subspeciality support
• Experienced support staff includes a dedicated Stroke Coordinator, Educator and Stroke Navigator
• 24/ 7 EEG Support
• Opportunities for structured Neuroscience educational sessions, M&M, and GME
• EMR Platform - EPIC
