Job summary

Healthcare United in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join a growing spine, pain, and neuroscience practice. You will provide high-quality neurological care within a multidisciplinary team that includes pain management specialists, physical therapists, and diagnostic services.

The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO from an accredited medical school, Florida license eligibility, and excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology is required.
• Eligible for or currently holding an active Florida medical license is expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and nervous system.
• Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, including history, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing management of neurological conditions.
• Order and interpret neurological testing, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions appropriate for neurological disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with pain management, spine, orthopedic, and rehabilitation specialists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care strategies.
