Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified Neurologist for an inpatient/clinic assignment in Michigan. The neurologist will provide day-shift coverage with 24-hour weekend call, and perform radiologic interpretation, EEG, lumbar puncture and brain death examinations.

The host facility is a 202-bed regional referral center serving residents across 22 counties in northern Lower Michigan and the eastern Upper Peninsula, with a broad cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences focus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified neurologist with valid medical license.
• Inpatient and clinic neurology coverage required.
• Familiar with radiologic interpretation, EEG, lumbar puncture, brain death examination, and evoked potentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site inpatient and clinic neurology coverage during day shifts with 24-hour weekend call.
• Interpret radiologic exams, perform EEGs, lumbar punctures and brain death examinations.
• Participate in evoked potentials testing and other neurologic assessments.
