Job summary

Atrium Health in Monroe, NC is actively recruiting an additional Neurologist to join an established Neurology team as part of expansion. The ideal candidate will have MD/DO credentials and board certification/eligibility in Neurology, with licensure in NC/SC, BLS, and DEA/DPS registration.

Subspecialty interest in Headache, Neurophysiology, Movement, Neuromuscular and Cognitive Neurology is welcomed, with EEG/EMG a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
• Successful completion of residency in an ACGME‑accredited program.
• South Carolina and North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
• Board Eligible/Board Certification in Neurology
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing required.

Responsibilities

• Join an established, well‑respected neurology practice.
• Subspecialists willing to see General Neurology are welcome; focus areas include Headache, Neurophysiology, Movement, Neuromuscular and Cognitive Neurology.
• EEG/EMG experience is a plus; enjoy an established referral base; excellent clinical and administrative support; no hospital call.
